I actually started at UW as a nursing major— studying the human body, how systems work, what happens when they don't. I later pivoted to Informatics but never stopped thinking that way. I just traded stethoscopes for Figma.

I believe that good design asks the same questions good medicine does: what's actually wrong here, who's actually affected, and what breaks if you guess?
